Do not take your child here, do whatever you can to get a private doctor. They 10-13 my daughter with no history of attempted suicide, and no intent. She had a long history of cutting and was under the care of a therapist and we were referred for her to get on antidepressants. Now my child sits in an inpatient facility for no reason and all the other doctors she has seen in the last 24 hours agree that the highland rivers doctor was negligent and has caused more harm than good. She looks at check lists and doesn t pay attention to the situation. This doctor has legally kidnapped my child and my child and our entire family is now suffering. We will never trust another mental health professional again after this. The employees at this facility warned me before we even saw the doctor, which by the way was 7 hours after we arrived in the office. Zero stars wasn t an option!
