Absolutely wonderful museum which is like walking ...

Absolutely wonderful museum which is like walking through someone's private house. Well, actually, that's exactly what it is - or rather, was! Every sumptuous room is a winner, packed to the rafters with French porcelain and paintings by the likes of Velazquez, Titian and Rembrandt, beautifully displayed against rich red, deep blue blend emerald green brocade wallpaper. You'll need way more than two hours to get round this place - in fact, far better to split it across a couple of days. There's also a cafe and restaurant in the centre of the museum, in a covered courtyard serving very tasty fayre, including brunch and the staff are very pleasant, albeit a wee bit slow - coffee took an age to arrive but maybe they're short staffed in the kitchen? Entrance to the museum is free but please, make a voluntary donation. This place deserves it.
