I have left Grey Flannel Auctions, Inc voicemails, and have sent several emails since May 23rd and have not had any response from the Grey Flannel Auctions Agent. He sent me a notice on May 23rd, 2023 that they will not be including my item (Babe Ruth signature) in an upcoming auction, after I had shipped it to them. He told me in the May 23rd email that they will charge me a $50 fee for them not authenticated the piece. I never agreed to the $50 fee, and they are now holding my piece hostage. In fact, this line appeared in 2 or 3 emails back to me: there will be a standard consignment fee of 20% of the final hammer. This percentage is all-inclusive and there are no hidden and/or "authentication" fees which many other auction houses have been known to hit people with after the fact.

I would like to give it to another authentication house. At the very least they should respond to my voicemails and/or emails.
