During our visit on the 6th August, my 8 year old grandson was very much looking forward to viewing the Crown Jewels. We cleared entry with pre- booked tickets just after 10am to be faced with a queue for the Jewels which extended outside the normal queuing area some 30 yards down hill. An estimated 2 hour wait. Tower management need to seriously devise a more customer friendly method of entry for this aspect of the visit. Timed entry for example works well for the London Eye and London Dungeon. Forcing people/kids to queue for two hours is just unacceptable as well as consumes useful time. A most disappointing visit.
