My normal service (oil change/tire rotation), which usually takes around 40 minutes, took over 90 minutes this time, but part of the problem may have been that I also had them do a safety inspection. I always bring my own oil and filter and they change it for $21.00 labor. They did it this time too (because of my service history), but my service adviser, a different guy this time, told me he normally doesn't allow bringing in your own oil and filter. He then went the extra mile to mock people who request it, saying, "I tell them that if they want their own oil and filter, they should just change it themselves." Hello, I'm standing right here. I bought this car from them. I always add a tire rotation, and last time, they did an actual repair of my rear hatch. Plus, they get to do the multi-point inspection each time I bring it in creating the opportunity for them to sell me service, this time a wiper blade. So I'd say the whole thing is working out for them. But I may or may not go back for routine maintenance next time. After all, I'm one of THOSE people.
