My son is now in year 8 and enjoys school as much as any moody 13 year old can, he has a great network of friends and no bullying experienced at all which is fabulous, pastoral care fab, any problems and they're available for help. No phones allowed in school time too so less distractions! I also like the fingerprint cash free system for school lunches which is easy to top up through the school website and prevents risk of bullying for children with Free School Meals. Lots of after school clubs and activities available, including homework help and maths clubs to help with maths homework. Teaching staff seem strict but sometimes this is needed with teenagers, not overly strict though. Only downside not many healthy options in the canteen at lunch just pizza burgers and sandwiches/paninis.
