My wife and I have been kicking around the idea of replacing my 2004 Explorer for some time, and that time came today. Like most people, we were trying to pay down debt and save for a down payment. Out of the blue, my wife suggested we go and test drive the truck I have been looking at. I will say, I was ready to drive to Baltimore to test drive another vehicle I had seen online with a price within our limit but she suggested we go to Apple Ford since it was very close to our house. Upon arrival we were asked by a manager if we needed any help and I stated "no, I was just looking", found my way to the upper lot and was able to brouse without the pressure some dealers live on. After narrowing down two trucks we wanted to test drive we were greeted by a gentleman named Andy Nyeste, who we found out was the internet sales manager. Andy secured the keys and tags and my wife and I hit the road. Upon returning, we found Andy and told him we liked the the first truck and went inside for the "sit down". Now this was not my first buying experience and I knew what lay ahead however, I was pleasantly surprized that there was NO pressure to buy. When we sat down Andy was able to confirm some questions I had asked pertaining to a manufactures trade in allowance which sweetened the deal. As their website states, the price is on the windshield which makes for a no haggle experience which since we were buying a leftover 2013 F150 included some hefty rebates and then the allowance that wasn't accounted for. Since this was a Saturday the dealership was VERY busy, after completing our credit app it only took a few minutes to get approval for a great rate. Everyone we came into contact with from Apple was plesant and asking if we needed anything which was very different compared to the last time my wife and I tried to buy a car from them seven years ago. After spending around four hours there we were on our way with a new 2013 f150 and couldnt be happier. Andy made buying a car a very simple experience who I will recommend to those who ask.
