3 years ago we felt the Lord was leading us in a new direction in life and we started praying for a new church to attend permanently. The Lord led our family to Athey Creek. Prior to attending the church I had been listening to pastor Brett on the radio 93.9 and the word he was sharing really filled me up spiritually, I felt like I really wanted to attend that church of that pastor but never had the opportunity to do so. In the midst of us praying to find a new church home, a family member invited us to Athey Creek. I remember stepping into the church for the very first time and hearing pastor Bretts voice, I recognized it right away as that one guy on the radio i really liked (for some reason I envisioned him younger lol). From that first visit we felt in our hearts that it was going to become our home church and it has. In the 3 years we have been going to Athey i have also personally overcome an addiction to opiates that i was battling for 6 years (totally clean 2 years with no maintenance medications). Praise be to the Lord Jesus. If your looking for a church to check out, I would highly recommend this one. God Bless
