I have been working and studying with LRDG since September 2019. Firstly, I love my job, I'm nannying for 3 families (which sounds overwhelming- but actually I enjoy the structure). The family liaison team are always there to help me communicate with my families, check in on me and offer solutions to any difficulties. The office team have given me advice plenty of times, whether that be about personal things, housing, banking etc... they're always smiling and positive (it helps that some of them are previous CAP students as they've been in my place!) The agency offer social events such as the Christmas party which was great fun, we even got gifts courtesy of Catherine, who's generosity doesn't go unnoticed by myself and fellow classmates. I am very happy working with the agency and look forward to continuing! About the CAF diploma: I am in the beginners class and can definitely see an improvement in my French since starting. The teachers are great, always willing to help and tailor their lessons to us after receiving class feedback. Ranya, the course coordinator, always does her best to accommodate us. Especially during the greve and with our dossiers/fiches. She's a real joy and inspiration. I have always felt supported by the whole team and i'm grateful for this unique opportunity that has been a pleasure so far. I would encourage anyone considering the course, to just go for it! You have so much to gain from this amazing agency / community. :-)
