Horrible at handling returns.

I tried to return a book I had purchased through St Benedict Press. The money came out of my account but a few days later the charge from my account disappeared. There was no communication about whether or not my order was still going to be delivered or why the charge had disappeared or if the order had been cancelled.....absolutely nothing.

I waited for another week or so but still didn't receive a book or any communication whatsoever about whether I had a valid or cencelled order so I went to Amazon and purchased a copy of the same book which I then received a few days later.

About a week later I received the book I had originally tried to buy through St Benedict Press.

I never opened the package it was sent in because I wanted to simply return the book. I called St Benedict Press and was told by customer service that all I needed to do was refuse the package and send it back for a refund.

Long story short, for three days I tried to find a place that would "simply" send the package back to St Benedict Press as instructed. No one would take it and send it back. At this point I'm done. I won't purchase items through St Benedict Press again.
