Based on the reputation, the peach cobbler, the pride and the heart of this historic establishment, on most days, this would easily be a 5. Yet, the service can totally use some work. Pre-pandemic, it was what it was once you get inside the restaurant, but right now, more order could be instituted on the outside in order to ensure less confusion and negative energy.

One suggestion would be signs/lines or at least designated places in the sun or not, for everyone from VIP (because they seem to exist understandably), UberEats, Postmates, call-ins, people who need to order and people who have ordered, etc. Also, because there seems to be at least 3 staff members attending to the crowd outside at all times, it might be a good idea for one staff member to solely be responsible for taking orders. In decency and order, maybe one staff member should be responsible for constantly taking names or order numbers of people waiting in the various lines to avoid people feeling as though they have to push through the crowd to be seen or heard, thus avoiding longer waits than necessary and people being overlooked altogether. Then, it may be a good idea for one staff member to take the latest list from the other staff and constantly check for/fill orders "in their ENTIRETY" to avoid someone getting their food, but waiting another 30 minutes to an hour for their drinks or vice-versa.

At any rate, again, I'd normally leave 5 stars, but this plus the food being cold by the time I got it and the quality slightly having slipped, prevented me from being able to do it this time. Nevertheless, I'm pulling for my people, but we have to get it together y'all!!! If Chick-fil-A's can do it, so can we!!! Otherwise, I appreciate the dedication of every staff member working in the midst of this thing that none of us ever fathomed or seen before, and I'm honored to have had the privilege of supporting such a place over the years .
