This location (and many others) violates the Americans with Disabilities Act aka ADA aka Handicap. I ve just moved to downtown Raleigh and took a class at this YMCA last Friday and was EXTREMELY disappointed that the only available ADA parking was taken up by not one but TWO landscaping trucks. The landscapers were very obviously working on the ymca lawns, and therefore must have had permission from the staff. Tisk tisk!! Just think of it your grandma was made to park across the street and walk on her bad knee and tib/fib injuries all so that the lawn looks nice. I m going to attempt to contact management, but if there s no resolution, I will be forced to report this to the ADA authorities (it is enforced and fines can be assessed). Please take this manner seriously!!!
