First time in this hospital. I was received by Dr. Said TAS, in the dermatology department.
Since December, I have had adult acne that I can not manage on my own. So I go to a dermatologist to ask my questions and receive treatment. This one asks me to explain my problem, he looks at my pimples and makes his diagnosis. I do not disagree with his diagnosis since I am not a doctor and he certainly knows more than me what is wrong with my skin.
After listening to him, I ask a simple question. Having had difficulty taking rd-vs with a dermatologist and having a persistent acne in the face, I think it's normal that while waiting to get a rd-vs, I talk about my problem with friends (especially when people are constantly asking me what I did to my face ...). One of them had a lot of skin problems (acne) as well. After many dermatologists, she found her problem with intolerance to certain foods. So I just ask Mr. Tas if I could not take a blood test because a friend advised me. He reacts very unpleasantly. Not only does he react in this way, but he does not even explain why my question is stupid. I am not a doctor, it is normal that I am wrong but when I go to see a dermatologist and I pay 60 euros consultation, when I stay from the beginning until the correct end, I think that rather than consider Patients like to stay with their questions, it would be wiser to simply answer that for my problem, the blood test is useless.
Moreover, at no time did I disrespect her, but I allowed myself to tell her that I did not like her way of answering my question. He went straight up on his big horses and threatened not to continue the consultation. This consultation was finally done in silence, I had to ask him questions about the prescribed creams so that he explains to me how to apply them and when to apply them (to know if I had to do it on the buttons or on all the face), he did not even say how long I should use tetralysal, I had to ask him what cream to put in the morning, otherwise he had not prescribed it. I did not even dare to ask him why it was necessary to take the tetralysal once a day (because the dermatologist that I had consulted 4 years ago had prescribed me in the morning and evening), for fear that he is angry again when I consider that there are no known questions, it is better to ask them on the contrary. Finally he priced the 60 euros without explaining anything to me (except for the things that I have, thankfully, thought of asking him).
On leaving, to appease the consultation, I told him "goodbye sir", he did not even bother to answer me (he may have said a "yes") and I said "thank you" after. No response from him. Paying 60 euros (and non-refundable unlisted pcq) for a consultation like this is a shame. At this price, a doctor is also there to explain how to optimize the chances of success of the given treatment.
I strongly advise against this man unable to stay professional, unable to put aside what he thinks of the person in front of him and explain his diagnosis to the patient.
