BEWARE OF MASS CEC REBATE PROGRAM
In late May 2018 we installed a mini split ductless air conditioning/heat system in our house. Included in my decision to make this purchase was a $2500 rebate from MassCEC. I submitted my rebate paperwork in early July having been told that it would take 6-8 weeks to process. Today is December 27th and I just got off the phone with CEC rep (at least my 10th phone call on this matter). After yet again expressing my frustration I was told that the check would be in today's mail. Of course this is not the first time I have been given this line of B.S. Is is CEC's strategy to wear down customers to avoid paying rebates?
