I visited Penn Dutch the afternoon before to place an order for a very large barbecue steak event for the next day. I needed 60 of the flap steak aka Churrasco steak. The next morning at the agreed time, I went back to the meat department and said I was here to pick up an order I placed yesterday afternoon , well they didn't have it ready and one of them chuckled. Then came the excuses, new employee, didn't have enough info etc... but they did have my contact info. Fortunately, they had enough in the meat department coolers but it was disappointing and time consuming which is why I came in the afternoon before.

Overall the store is impressive, great selection but they need work with their customer service with a few employees. I will return but it will take some time for me to get over it.

Hopefully this review helps improve the customer service issue, perhaps an attitude adjustment and better training of the staff is needed too.
