The BLO was never World Class; however, while it was housed in the Schubert , some of the Operas were excellent in terms of production, variety and quality. Now it has slid downhill from the mid-point, homeless and productions we have never heard of before. Who really wants to wander all over the city to hear mediocre Operas in whichever Venue offers the least expensive cost?
