After sitting at home waiting for Emerald Plumbing...

After sitting at home waiting for Emerald Plumbing to arrive I finally decided to give them a call because they were 30 minutes late and I had not received a phone call from them. I called and spoke to one of the receptionists and she said, "What's your zip code...you are not scheduled at all." I gave her verbatim the conversation I had on the phone with them and she said, " Oh yes I remember that conversation can you hold for a moment." She proceeds to come back on the phone and says to me that I was on the board and that they took it down. I asked why and she said, You called and cancelled." I told her that I did no such thing as I need a plumber desperately. She then follows up saying, "People call all the time and cancel you must have cancelled. Once again, I DID NOT CANCEL!!! Her closing remark was, "I can fit you in our schedule next week." To which I followed up, no thanks I'll use another company. Long and short of it is they dropped the ball big time and wanted to take no responsibility at all. Sad that this is how business is done today. I remember the days when companies would jump through hoops for their clientele.
