World-class collection, but unfortunately the museum s staff quality does not live up to the Foundation s incredible artwork. Our tour guide did not know Renoir from Matisse, literally, despite the $40/pp price tag of the tour, and I m not certain she had studied any of the works in the museum. At the parking area, the guard failed to inform us that the payment machine was broken and then rudely criticized us when we asked for his help getting out of the lot. While these inconveniences were minor, they overshadowed an otherwise excellent museum for my tour group. I would recommend avoiding the weekend crew at the Foundation, which seems to be a B team compared to the staff I ve interacted with during the workweek.
