My husband and I called to inquire on a car we found online and Chris was our assigned sales person, like any customer we called to get more details on the vehicle and tried to negotiate the price before driving to Tampa from Orlando. Chris didn t care to negotiate and when we asked for other options he quickly turned us down. My husband called the following day and spoke to Joe, who was amazing. He was able to negotiate the car for us over the phone, got us pre-approved and even told us where our payments would be before driving to Tampa! Unfortunately, the day we drove to Tampa, Joe was off and assigned us to Chris to help us finalize everything. Chris called my husband on our way to Tampa and asked what time we would be arriving, we made him aware we would be there at 8:30pm (like we agreed with Joe) and he quickly said oh that s after hours, I m gonna have ask someone at finance if they can stay behind (when we got there there were 2 other families). When we got there Chris was nothing but short and unprofessional, we felt our buying process was rushed and we couldn t believe this was the treatment we were getting at a Mercedes dealership. We had visited numerous dealerships prior to stepping foot there and can honestly say Chris needs to reconsider a different career. He didnt even explain all the features in my car, the only thing he kept saying was do you have any questions? A sales person is there to inform their clients what they re selling not to ask if we have questions. I m disgusted in the way we were treated and highly advise you retrain Chris, people like himself push clients away. Never again will we give our business to MB of Tampa.
