Beautiful resort, very clean with very friendly staff members. Food is overpriced (about double what you would expect in the US mid-Atlantic region) and not that great tasting. I would expect more fresh seafood options in the Bahamas. On top of the price, there is a 12.5% VAT tax and an automatic 15% gratuity, even at the buffet, so automatically 27.5% increase on your tab. They also appreciate if you add some additional gratuity.

The drinks are pricey too but they don't skimp on the alcohol.

It gets pretty crowded during the day since passengers from the cruise ships docking in Nassau can pay a fee to come over to Atlantis and partake in the various amenities. It thins out around 4pm when they start heading back to the ships.
