The Bump 2 Baby photo experience has captured some precious shots that I will treasure forever.
I loved being pregnant and Jasmine created a relaxed environment to capture the beauty of my bump at 36 weeks. Be prepared to strip off as the best images to show off your bump are realised by draping you in loose fabrics. These are all taken tastefully. Taylor Made Portraits had lots of ideas to try & Jasmine was great at direction and worked with me on what I liked and felt comfortable doing. I'd recommend wearing a nice bra set, ideally one you can wear at the new born shoot too.
We returned when my son was 1 week old as the Baby Art imagery is achieved during those first early days. Jasmine had prepared the studio with different sets. The shoot was booked from 10am to 4pm so we wouldn't be rushed. Your baby needs to be asleep for the pictures and my son was wide awake but Jasmine was so patient as she waited hours for him to nod off. Once asleep, Jasmine slowly positioned my son for his pictures. It was like magic watching him gently being moved and not even stirring. It's no surprise that she has earned the nickname "The Baby Whisperer". The tricks to achieve the shots & keep baby safe are so clever. The atmosphere was so calm it was lovely to relax whilst he was photographed and Taylor Made Portraits provided light refreshments throughout our visit.
Afterwards, Brendan put together a slideshow for the screening to show us the images. This was no ordinary slideshow though. It is put together with music and has the sentimental appearance of a scrapbook. This was a real treat to watch at the end of the day and I must confess I was so happy with the results that I cried.
I'm looking forward to returning in a year for his Smash The Cake shoot. This time, I'm saving up for a canvas. Xxx
