The city of Boston is considering a new proposal that would allow legal immigrants who aren t US citizens the right to vote throughout the city. This is knuckle-headed. It would lessen the value of being an American citizen. They should have a campaign promoting the benefits of becoming a citizen by encouraging immigrants to learn US history, our laws and customs and become US citizens. Then they would have earned the right to vote.
