It is my partner Jon Wold who changed hip 03.03.2016.
Everything from preparations, such as x-rays several times, blood tests, check of medication use and internal medicine were quickly and efficiently performed and on time. We also received full letters about everything we should be dealing with, and a booklet on how the hospital works. We were both in hip school - a 2 hour program where even clearer explanations and expectations were presented. This made us much safer and always everyone we met at the hospital was friendly and caring.
The operation itself went smoothly, and already day 1, Jon was on his feet. On day 2 he went crutches neatly and on day 3 he came home. He was then and some days afterwards well-medicated with painkillers, so that he could move properly and as much as possible. After 5 days he left the crutches, and now 4 weeks later, it is almost just a very nicely sewn scar that shows what he has gone through.
Questions we have had have been taken seriously and answered pleasantly. So from now on, there is only physical therapy left. This is fantastic and we can only say:
