The Shady Rest Motel is a decent place to stay for a night or two. The rooms are clean and comfortable, although they could use some updating. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the location was convenient. The only downside was the noise from the nearby highway, but that's to be expected at a motel. Overall, I had a satisfactory stay at the Shady Rest Motel.
