After pollution control, we are seeing killer whales appearing in Vancouver Harbor, near shores, etc. This has never been seen in decades. Therefore, we must preserve nature by reducing pollution or ions in the ocean.

According to physics, to cool an object, you always have a material turning from a liquid phase to a gas phase. For earth, it is water evaporation. Water evaporates a lot easier if it is free from ions (i.e. pollutants) because water is a polar compound. When liquid is converted to gas, heat energy is converted to kinetic energy of the vapour. That is how refrigerant inside the refrigerator works. The refrigerant inside the refrigerator turns from liquid to gas to make the refrigerator cold. Also when doctors give you an injection, they always apply alcohol to your skin first. When alcohol evaporates, the skin feels cold.

There are some people who claim that the earth is getting colder because the sun is getting weaker. Those people have NO understanding of fundamental science. Since Water (H2O) is a polar compound, it forms hydrogen bond which creates water tension. It takes energy to break water's hydrogen bond to force water from liquid form into gas form. Since we are getting a record amount of rain after pollution control, it is obvious that the sun is NOT getting weaker. The earth is getting cooler because sun's heat energy is being converted into kinetic energy of the water molecules.
