I recently had the opportunity to volunteer with a local mentoring program and it was an amazing experience. The organization does fantastic work in supporting children and youth in the community. I was impressed by the level of care and commitment shown by the staff and volunteers. They truly make a difference in the lives of the children they serve. I would highly recommend getting involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Waterloo Region if you have the chance!
