Dakar Terminal has launched a vast investment plan for handling equipment suitable for ro-ro ships and infrastructure works to renovate the median. The company also plans to start deepening the east wharf to accommodate two deep draft vessels simultaneously.
The terminal handles the local market but also goods in transit to the sub-region.
Dakar Terminal employs more than 150 permanent employees and is an integral part of the Emerging Senegal Plan launched by the authorities which aims in particular to make the port of Dakar the first port on the West African coast.
