I have had a superb time at New Life Foundation, on their residence programme. The community were incredibly welcoming. The room simple and comfortable, warm water and clean. The food absolutely divine, I am a vegetarian and this has been some of the most nourishing food I have eaten forever. The staff are very friendly and hugely committed to their roles. There is a wonderful sense of hope and peace and this all embodies the path to steady progressive recovery. There is excellent yoga and meditations, a beautiful lake to run or walk around. Workshops and experienced counsellors. Local trips to temples, cafes, make the experience fun and explorative. The nearby town Chiang Rai has excellent Thai massage places and night & food markets. I would very much recommend this place to all sorts of individuals looking for change in patterns, you can go at your own pace, I would recommend getting involved and allow the programme to work its magic, whether its in yoga, meditation, morning meetings, silent retreat, meal times, workshops, counselling, addiction meetings, improv, public speaking, dancing, walking meditation, bike rides, coconut meetings, counselling sessions, work shifts, swimming, life story listening. Well done New Life Foundation, I wish you all the best for the future and will pass on to friends and family.
