On Saturday December 1st around 7PM I took my mom in to have a drink at what I think is a truly beautiful space. Unfortunately, we were greated by an incredibly rude and unfeeling bouncer. It was an hour until the band went on and I let him know that we would not be staying for the band. He said no. I asked if I could just show my mom the room and we would leave and he said no. For a place that represents a time so set apart from today, I was sorry to meet someone so severe, so small minded, and unkind. This man was at least 3x my size. If I didn't leave after showing my mom the space, it would have been easy for him to do something about it. He was lazy and is a sad representation of such a lovely place. They had everything to gain by letting us in, and lost some customers tonight.
