On Saturday April 21st we checked in at The Houstonian hotel coming from Los Angeles to attend our friends wedding

After me and my wife went to bed we start hearing kinda chewing noises After a second I heard my wife was screaming Rattttt!
I saw huge rat kinda hiding under bed we grabbed as much as our stuff and ran out and called front dest

They send someone to catch the rat with vacuum cleaner my wife was still shaking, management came to us and said: sorry about that your room is ready sir we removed the rat My wife said are you kidding we wont go back to that room would you give us another room
She replied sorry we fully booked when we went back to room we saw rats hairs all over carpet and bed, we packed went back to lobby and ask for refund
She said sorry we cannot do refund you should call in morning
Long story short we went to JW Marriott downtown and till today no refund on our room neither on wallet parking and not a single apology calls from anybody

If you don t mind rat or rat hair in your room its a nice hotel
At one point she said it s really common in our hotel and you are the only one who reacting!
