Maven Silicon is wonderful institute and a great starting point for someone who is passionate about VLSI Industry. From my experience studying in maven and looking at things that goes around in this sector, I would this sector is only for the passionate ones. If you are someone who is looking to get a good paying job quickly and without putting much effort, then look at other industries.
Coming to maven, I would say it provided all the support and imparted all the knowledge that is required to get into Design, Verification and DFT in front end.
If you are willing to work hard, then Maven can be a great starting point to begin learning.
