This YMCA location is top-notch! The location, amenities, coffee area and small chapel are all superb. The only REAL down side to this specific location are the front desk people whose job is to check-in/check-out members. Instead of focusing on their jobs, they find it fit to judge/gossip about the members among themselves: how a member talks, how he/she dresses, how short/long time the member spends at the gym, etc. This is none of their business as long as the Y s policies are followed. Perhaps they are engaging in this type of disrespectful and disgraceful behavior because foot traffic is low, due to Covid, so they are looking for ways to pass their time. It could also be they had bad people in the past so they started to stupidly assume that everyone is bad.

If I was the Director of this facility, I would keep these folks occupied so they don t have time to engage in this unprofessional (but highly VISIBLE!) workplace behavior, in a desperate attempt to make paying members uncomfortable.
