My old reliable Prius needed help the check engine...

My old reliable Prius needed help the check engine light was on and I also had a warning message "Check Hybrid System". After 10 years of very reliable service I thought my Prius was finally going to die. Last week I had gone to a Toyota dealership and customer service was trouble and they wanted almost $2000 to fix it and so I was referred by a friend to Northlake Lexus for a second opinion and I am so glad I did. My experience could not have been any better. The technician did a very thorough assessment (three page detailed report) and provided a route cause analysis of the problem, but more importantly was able to show me in the report that my Hybrid system was healthy. The repair was a water pump and as less than half the cost of the Toyota Dealership quote. Finally the customer service representative also noticed that I needed an annual inspection (which again the Toyota dealership failed to mention) and so I was able to get that annual maintenance item completed as well. I am very impressed with the quality of service especially since my car was not a Lexus. Thank you for great service.
