As a past City high/middle school PTSA president from 2009-2011, I had a mixed experience with the organization. While there were certainly some challenges along the way, overall, I found the PTSA to be a valuable resource for parents and students. The website, cityptsa.com, was a great tool for sharing information and keeping everyone informed. The PTSA also organized various events and fundraisers that helped enhance the educational experience for all students. However, I must admit that there were times when communication could have been better, and some of the decision-making processes were not as transparent as I would have liked. Despite these flaws, I believe that the PTSA had a positive impact on the school community during my tenure.
