This review pertains to the venue itself, not the performances which it seems to me many reviews seem to blend the performances with the venue review. The venue needs updating, during the show last night there was constant dripping from the ceiling (appeared to be condensation due to the air conditioning not working property, pretty much not at all), but not only was water dripping but also bits and pieces of the ceiling overhead near the first row of searing. Next, the restroom facilities, while probably nostalgic to some, were inadequate. Two toilets for women s restroom with little room in the stahl or in the restroom itself for sink access. I understerstand the men s restroom also had two urinals. I m not sure how many people the venue accommodates but certainly not enough restroom facilities for the attendees. Also, the venue itself smells musty, could be age, but I ve been in many old buildings that don t smell so musty. This could also be partially impacted by the non-working air conditioning. The owner announced prior to the show that next year they ll have new air conditioning, nice time to mention that after we already spent $132.50 for two tickets! Very hot, and uncomfortable for a 3-hour show by the way. They also really pack in the people by placing chair seating right up against one another. Combine the too close for comfort seating with non-working air conditioning and the results are a very uncomfortable evening.

Bottom line: this place needs major updating and even more so to command such high ticket prices. I hope they do make updates so this could be a solid suburban venue option for attending performances in the future.

I gave the venue two starts because a large majority of the staff were good, and because the owner actually went on stage to greet the crowd and talked about the AC issue...otherwise this would be a one star.
