You can buy a pack TER: round trip from Paris Gare du Nord and ticket entry to everything (including exhibitions!) @ 25 euros! From the station there are seldom buses or taxi/Uber for 5/6 euros. Spend a full day at the domain, and pack your sandwiches to enjoy the park at its fullest! Definitely better than Versailles, trust me!
