I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Scottish Railway Preservation Society and I must say it was a truly excellent experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff who were more than happy to answer any questions I had. The museum itself is incredible, with a vast collection of beautifully restored steam locomotives and carriages. The informative exhibits take you on a journey through the rich history of Scottish railways, and the opportunity to take a ride on one of the historic trains is not to be missed. Overall, I cannot recommend the Scottish Railway Preservation Society enough. It's a must-visit for any rail enthusiast or history buff.
