Visited for the first time on an unseasonably cold...

Visited for the first time on an unseasonably cold day for Texas spring (temp in low 40s), with our 2-y.o. daughter. She absolutely loved every minute of the entire afternoon we were there, and made us happy.

The facility is absolutely fantastic and well organized with professional staff, who worked tirelessly picking up after kids being wild running and screaming all around. For younger kids, start from upstairs where it's more age-appropriate, while older kids can enjoy the hands-on exhibits on the ground floor. Few highlights below:

1) Be mindful that the water feature upstairs can and will get your little one's footwear and/or pants wet. There wasn't enough waterproof smock/apron around, so we had to wait for ours. There are hand driers placed conveniently nearby, when necessary.

2) Toddler's area is for kids 2.5 y.o. and under. It's well padded play area for them to crawl and bounce about. They ask you to remove shoes or place shoe covers over.

3) There's a large structure outside with net/rope for climbing. Our daughter absolutely loved climbing all over with kids more than twice her size and age. For parents with active children like ours, be ready to climb up there and fit into tight places.

4) One interesting observation: we stayed till the closing time (6PM on Saturday), and upon making our way to the exit, the staff closed the main gate and asked all the families to hang tight. We heard other parents saying it must have been a case of a child being separated from parents, and that we were kept from exiting the premise until they reunited the said family. The whole situation lasted no more than 5 minutes. As parents, we not only understood, but appreciated such measure.

We'd most certainly return here as our children grow and would consider the membership to be well worth the cost.
