I bought tires at desoto mo 63020 walmart. they put the wrong size tires on my car & it wore off 1 1/2 inch of front tires from rubbing ball joints. after they were installed I started having front end problems, had to have 2 upper & 1 lower ball joint replaced & 1 tie rod end. "about $1000. then started having ecm "computer problems" didnt notice we had to big of tires untill we had a flat & went to festus walmart & they would touch the car because tires were way to big & unsafe they said. we were advised to go to de soto walmart. we had to drive home over 20 miles with the bad tire & then to de soto walmart "18 mile or so" the next day on bad tire & was there 6 hours when they figured out to give us new tires. by then the new jiffy lube "that was walmart auto" when we bought the tires was closing in 15 minutes so they made us drive 18 miles home again & drive back the next day on bad tire. the asst manage forgot to leave note for the manager the next day so it took us 6 hours again to get new tires. then they made us pay for installing them when we just paid to install on the old tires that were to big, they also made us pay for new warrentys & wouldnt credit us back the differance they owe us on the smaller tires they put on 2nd time. they made us pay $2.50 for the bad tire. after the install the ball joints were put on within 4 weeks. computer problems started after new tires were put on, had diognostiks done & over 10 code came up to do with abs & everything. they said computer was bad. & would be $1000 I bought a used 1 "$150 i think it was" & had it flashed & payed $250 to install i think it was. then had more computer issues & paid $700 for that. I have almost all the receipts. we still have abs light come on sometimes. goes off when i floor it then it shifts & light goes out. I have call 800 walmart about 40 times, they always tell me a gary mclaughlin will call me & has never in 9 months. I finally called him today & he didnt offer me anything except to go through cmi "claims management inc" they were rude to me & told me they wouldnt pay for any computer or abs problems or anything but ball joints. so i told him to f*** off & close my claim. I shouldnt have cussed but i have been dealing with this for 9 months & problems with my car for over a year. I cant understand how they will not work this out with me. 800 walmart advised me to take manage & asst manager to small claims court. they cant believe no 1 will fix this. can anyone out there help me ? maybe a lawyer or ANYONE !!!! I CANT BELIEVE HOW THEY TREAT PEOPLE. NO WAY !!!! i WILL BE TAKING THE MANAGER & ASST MANAGER TO SMALL CLAIMS COURT IF THAT IS MY LAST CHOICE. BUT ANY INFO WOULD BE GREAT. THANK YOU, JULIE
