Went to this shop multiple times after hearing good things and even recommend it to others. Just recently my mercury sable stopped starting and after towing it to strictly was quoted $2100 for new starter and felxplate effectively totalling the car. I sold it on Facebook marketplace broken only for the buyer to call me back a day later saying the flex plate was in perfect condition and the only thing wrong with the car was a bad starter. He straight up told me he felt horrible for my situation and to avoid going back to the mechanic as they were ripping me off. He also said they clearly didn't even check the flex plate and it was in perfect condition. This meant what could have been a DIY job or worst case $500 (starter is only $50) was turned into a $2100 one. Please don't support dishonest mechanics like this. This experience has left me feeling sick and saddened especially considering this mercury was my first car that belonged to my grandma and I babied it to no end.
