I don t know, I am really torn about this museum. Some of the displays were absolutely fantastic but a lot of them were just meh. Perhaps I was coming in with too high of expectations, but for a modern art museum in San Francisco, I just felt that too many of the exhibits were a little bit lacking in creativity and aesthetic appeal. The architecture of the museum is certainly interesting and lends itself well to displaying artwork, and perhaps it s just the exhibits that were on display during our visit (July 2021), but all three of the people in our group were left feeling a little disappointed.
