If you are considering receiving your chiropractic education here I would highly recommend ANY other school. Ever since they got a new president, Dr. Mestan, the school has been a complete mess. I can speak to this because I attended through the transition from one president to another. There are TOO many complaints to simply put into a single review so I will summarize a few main ones.

1) They recruited a bunch of students and dually enrolled them in an acupuncture program. There were students that only wanted to do the acupuncture program but the school convinced them to dual enroll in both the acupuncture and chiropractic program because they could then be "doctors". After coercing a bunch of students to do both programs they terminated the acupuncture program after the students were already enrolled in the chiropractic one and paid over $30,000 so they had no option but to finish the chiropractic program or be out all that money.

2) The program has a clinical aspect to it where you work as a student intern. One of the main locations where you do so is the Seneca Falls Health Center. The main clinical employed by the school is blatantly racist. All the other professors of the school openly discuss it, all the students are aware of it and still nothing is done about it. If you are a minority your clinical experience will be completely ruined and all your complaints are disregarded. I have spoken to students as far back as 2003 and they said the problem even existed then and it was just accepted.

3) Most recently, this is a mind blowing one. The current graduating class has had some understandable disruptions in their education due to Covid-19. What they were not expecting though is that the school withdrew as a testing site from their part IV examination with out informing the students. The withdrawal was understandable due to the public health concern BUT the school never contacted their students saying they were doing so therefore they didn't have an opportunity to change their testing location. This resulted in this entire upcoming graduating class not being able to take their board examination until min November at the earliest. This means students are going to go a minimum of 6 months post graduation with out being able to obtain a license. This is only true for NYCC students all other chiropractic school graduates will be able to get licensed following their graduation. The best part is when students brought this concern to their president Dr. Mestan he basically told them its "their problem" instead of assisting in working with their board.

As i stated even with this large description this is only a fraction of my complaints look else where for your education, it is sad that so many great professors and decent opportunities are polluted by a terrible administration.
