Curamericas is a Raleigh based and international-focused non-profit working to provide innovative community based life-saving services and education for mothers and children in forgotten communities around the world. Its unique approach to community participation and ownership of its projects sets it apart on a highly positive satisfactory impact across project sites. Interning here has provided me with a tremendous opportunity to expand my horizons, develop new skills, put into practice the concepts I have learned in school to make a difference in the lives of others. I feel more equipped than ever before to engage myself in work that impact others and share the opportunities I have been blessed with.
