A real piece of English history. Very suggestive from outside, huge from inside, you can find a crown jewel collection, the real beefeater, a guided tour held by a beefeater and an armour collection. The tower worked as castle and prison since the foundation around 1000 AD untill the first world war. The castle is really interesting but the several room are poorly furnished and from this point of view the visit is slightly disappointing. The entire visit requires half a day and it's possible to see the famous ravens.
