I was paying money into escrow to pay for my yearly property taxes. The amount I put in for taxes was just about right for the total taxes owed, however because it was a new home, a healthy portion of what was owed was on a Supplementary Tax Bill (not the standard bill). Loan Care told me they cannot pay supplemental tax bills due to the laws in California. That was fine with me, I knew they could just refund the overages.
It took me nearly 3 months of phone calls almost every week to finally get my overages. Due to the long time, I had to pay the supplemental tax bill out of pocket and it still took another month from that point before the receiving the overage check.

As if this wasn't enough, the same thing happened when the second installment was due. They over estimated what could be paid out of escrow and to date, I have spent 2 months trying to get the overage. I have spoken with Wanda (agent ID 6799), Howard (agent ID 6767), Sheron (agent ID 3428), Tamika (agent ID 8761), Wilkia (agent ID 6876), and Laiasia (agent ID 5399) none of whom were able to help. I have even spoken with a supervisor Phil (I have his last name and phone number but for privacy reasons will not post) who was able to make some headway and at least be able to force a re-calculation, but not get the check cut and now he won't answer or return calls.

We're talking thousands of dollars here that is my money which they are withholding for MONTHS past when they should have released it. While most of the representatives I've spoken with are nice and as helpful as they are able to be, I am really not impressed with their approach to business and that they flat out do nothing without being poked, prodded, and practically forced to do it!!
