We held our wedding at The Callahan House this year and the venue was exceptional. They have the most beautiful gardens. However, my complaint is the host and hostess. Originally we were planning our wedding with Kathy, the onsite manager and when the date became closer another man, who I am unsure what his job title was, Howard surfaced. Between the two of them it was difficult to arrange our day the way we wanted. Then on our day Howard sat with a scowl on his face throughout the entire wedding and Kathy was very unkind to our guests. Many of our friends and family complained about her to us. In general it was a beautiful place, however the manager/hostess is not one to be managing or hosting people with her personality. Howard would be best kept behind the scenes.
