I was on unite 19 for roughly 9 months not long ago, and although there were some staff that were obviously just there for the checks, there were way more there that showed great support and encouragement. My first few weeks there were extremely hard and I had a lot of anxiety. Two particular staff members, Kyle and Todd, always took time to make sure I got a decent timed support walk no matter the weather. There were so many other great staff who deserve recognition for what they do and have done, these are just the 2 who have helped me most throughout my darkest times and have honestly helped me find myself while in RTF! (As for unit 20 - shout out to Miss. Megan, Mr. Billy and Mr. A-A-Ron ) I really liked this place a lot and suggest to send your kids here if needed. It's obviously not the best situation being in a "house" with a bunch of other kids with disabilities and mental health issues, but the staff make the best out of the situation!
