The Good: I am so happy that I joined SDRC last year. The monthly dues for membership and coaching are reasonable, you have 24/7 access to the boat house unless there's a special event, Coach Sean is really knowledgeable and helpful, and I've met a lot of awesome people here. Mid-weight racing sculls are often in use, so it's good that they allow you to reserve boats for free in advance. As a member, you'll also be able to attend their extravagant galas and informational seminars.

The Bad: I have had a few unpleasant encounters with grouches who almost put me off of joining SDRC, but I would say that the majority of members are friendly.
