Stayed here at the Paradise Spa Bure for 3 nights during peak season on Christmas. They advertise the price for $449 a night without breakfast.
3 nights during peak season in Christmas and New Years will cost you $1,347.

Pros: Welcoming, smiling reception staff.

Near the beach, beautiful plants surrounding the resort.

Has 4 swimming pools scattered within the complex. 1 of the pools is very small, a family can occupy this. It has a BBQ and next to one of the car parks.
2 of the pools however is bigger and can accommodate a few families.
1 pool the (water dragon activities centre) has BBQ facilities, 6 picnic tables. It's next to a small playground and a tennis court .

1 modest size indoor pool.

There's 3 tennis courts in total.
1 mini golf- putt putt
small gym

Love the spa inside our room with the glass roof on the spa area and bathroom.
Love the outdoor chairs and coffee table surrounded by plants in our room entrance.

Well lit bedroom area.

My husband likes that water dragons were everyone, I didn't though.

Microwave, coffee and tea making facilities

Cutlery and laundry available in our room

Cons: poor internet, we're with optus so no mobile data service in the complex. They provide wifi but you can only use in the resort, as soon as you wander to the beach or car park, it cuts off.

If you drive 5 mins away from the resort, mobile data is on full power.

During the 3 nights stay, no one came to clean the room, this was similar experience when we stayed at Canberra Mantra for 3 nights.

In comparison, We stayed at another Accor hotel, Fairmont McGallery Bluemountains for 2 nights and room service was provided, someone came to clean our room. Paid $770 for 2 nights.

Back to Aanuka..

I called reception to asked for facial tissues and reception told me to get it myself at the amenities cupboard infront of reception which I saw other guests do so.

No vallet service.

Molds in the corners of the bathroom.

we can hear conversation of people in the room next to us. They're not noisy, just talking.

I read other recent reviews on google and tripadvisor and same issues were mentioned like the lack of room service, cleanliness and soundproofing. Response from the resort was general, copy paste which suggests things are unlikely to change.

You don't request for someone to clean your room on a 4-star hotel, you just expect it bec that's what makes a hotel a 4-star.
