I am writing a review as the mother of limited verbal autistic child who spent time there. The place is beautiful, clean, well-staffed. The staff were very professional and helpful at all times, even when I wasn't cool headed abut things. They keep the kiddos busy and on a tight schedule. They have them do their school work there. They play. They watch movies. They have a dietitian who makes sure they are eating right and will make adjustments for each child's taste. My son needed nursing support for activities of daily living and they provided them too. When he first got there, he had a one on one person with him at all times. Top notch care. My son enjoyed his time there. He adjusted just fine. Also, the neighborhood it's located in is beautiful, so going to visit was a pleasure. I felt safe leaving him there. I had never really imagined needing a place like this for my child but I did. This place not only did their job but they did it well. It is a psych hospital but they make it comfortable for the kids. I will trust this place in the future should my son need their services again. I was not paid to leave this review. I wanted to leave it for my other autism families out there!
